Poltronova Superonda Red modular sofa

Designed in 1967 by the radical Florentine group Archizoom, it is the first sofa without a body. It consists of two waves, obtained from a block of polyurethane sawn in two parts by an "S" cut, which fit together and overlap, modeling different configurations. Lightness and modularity allow you to vary its use: Superonda can be a sofa, bed and chaise longue. Like many of the pieces designed by the Archizoom group, it proves to be a challenge to bourgeois conventions, stimulating the user's creativity and imagination. The glossy sky covering, in the primary colors of white, black and red, accentuates its pop image.
