The Mitzi sofa, part of the rich production dedicated to design by the Austrian master Hans Hollein, highlights a rigorous project scheme alongside the staging of a dialectic between different connotations and symbols. The soft and the rigid element are co-present in the materials and shapes. Padded cushions and soft wool blend together with the wood and briar leaf of the structure, the curved line of the backrest also coexists with the straight one at the base, a sort of masculine and feminine reunited.

Materials: poplar plywood base with erable briar finish, semi-glossy water-based varnish, internal iron structure, polyurethane cushions, wool cloth covering, cloth-covered buttons.
