Cappellini One Legged Table
One of Jasper Morrison’s very first projects, now revised almost forty years after its creation. This console, small in terms of dimensions but great in terms of appearance, features a one-legged metal frame, matt painted in grey or dark brown colour, and a top made of tempered float glass, sandblasted on both sides for an original game of reflections, with satin-resistant transparent varnish.
One Legged Table is a timeless object, valid today as well as at the moment of its conception, and it fully expresses Morrison’s design philosophy: eliminating the superfluous without trivialising the object.
