Joe is a large, comfortable armchair in the shape of a giant baseball glove, mounted on invisible wheels. With this project the designers, inspired by the poetics of Pop Art, materialized their admiration for the legendary American baseball champion Joe DiMaggio.

On the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary, Poltronova has created four special editions for a must-have that has never been out of the catalogue. Made of precious cotton and silk denim in the "Prussian Blue" shade, in the 1970s film legends such as James Dean or music legends such as Bob Dylan together with the Californian "hippy" youth made it a uniform for nonconformist spirits, just like it's the Joe.
