Spera originates from the idea of using marble processing waste and is part of a series made up of small mirrors and a photo frame by Superstudio. Through studied milling, the irregular piece of marble becomes the precious support for a mirror and for two methacrylate plates to be used as photo frames. Ofelia, Spera and Vanitas represent, ante litteram, a transformation project capable of restoring a new refined aesthetic to industrial waste.
